Introducing Jennifer: Photographer Extraordinaire!

A few years back, I realized that I can manage photographing a wedding by myself.  But, upon reflecting after my 2012 season, I came to another realization… I really like photographing weddings with someone else.  You get more angles, more creative juices flow between two artists working together, its easier to make sure you got all those essential shots, you can be in two places at once, you have someone help you carry the dress, it’s easier to turn chaos into formal shots, etc… So I have revamped my packages and pricing to include an assistant in ALL my wedding packages.  You can also upgrade to a 2nd shooter, which means both of us will be taking pictures at once.  The nice thing about having an assistant is that you can upgrade to 2 photographers for just a couple of hours during the peak of your day.  Also, it makes it easier to add a photo booth, which is a super fun thing to have at any wedding reception!  Luckily, I have found a couple of lovely and talented ladies to be my partners in crime.  Courtenay Goff, of Courtenay Goff Photography, and I have been friends for almost a decade and taken photographs side by side since 2008.

In 2012, I recruited long time friend and very talented photographer, Jennifer Thibodeau.  We met back in NYC, both in love with black and white film, the darkroom, and the city.  Jenn has a super creative eye, and although she works full time in the Public Health field, she is more than excited to shoot weddings with me on weekends.  Jennifer rocks the photo booth, holds dresses well above the ground, and totally nails the details.  Here are some of Jenn working:

And us having some fun with the photo booth:

I am so excited to work with these two lovely ladies doing what we love to do. Here’s to 2013!
